stirfried

mmmm stirfried goodness
or so it appears.  not one of my best efforts, but edible.  probably needed more sriracha.  like all things.

a variation on the painfully generic about.com's brown sauce recipe
  • 1 C broth [i had chicken on hand]
  • 1 T soy
  • 2 T fish sauce [or whatever pitiful amount is left in the bottle]
  • 1 T sugar
  • 3 T cornstarch
veggies: kale, cabbage, peppers
meats: thinly sliced beef, chinese sausage
sautee the veggies on high with a small amount of oil until just brightened and just starting to brown, set aside.  fry the crap out of the meat and then remember belatedly.. chinese sausage is always better fried on its own and then added to things.  shit.  say oh well and cook it all up anyway.  add veggies, sauce, and cook on medium-high stirring often, until thickened and bubbly.

add more sriracha.  eat with rice or noodles.  regret making 49 servings.
